FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I am a wedding and lifestyle photographer located in New York City.
I typically like to meet with clients before they book my services to chat about the wedding day, connect on a personal level and go over my portfolio and sample albums. I like to get to know who you are as a couple, your style, and what is most important to you. I want to make sure that we are a good fit! If after our initial consultation you would like to book me I require a $700.00 retainer and a signed contract to secure the date. The remaining balance is due 10 days prior to your wedding.
After I receive your contract and down payment I will send you a copy of the contract signed by me along with an invoice for your records. If you would also like an engagement session, we can book one at that time.
I also like to meet or talk on the phone one last time before the wedding to go over the wedding day timeline and to be sure we schedule enough time to fit in all the photos during the entire day. Typically I will schedule this a week prior to your wedding day. Feel free to contact me anytime throughout the wedding planning process if you have any questions or concerns.
If you cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours before the session time, or do not appear for the session, a Late Cancellation Fee will be imposed. The Late Cancellation Fee is an amount equal to the Booking Fee for that session. Therefore, the Booking Fee is forfeited and you must pay a new Booking Fee in order to re-schedule a new session date/time. The new Booking Fee is non-refundable and will be applied toward your new session fee and order total. If it is raining at the time of the photo session, we can reschedule without forfeiting your Booking Fee.
With image retouching and color correction done in-house and then posted to my online Proof Gallery, you will definitely have your images 3 weeks for lifestyle photography and 6-8 weeks after your big day (wedding), but hopefully sooner!
With all of my clients I provide a USB thumb drive with high resolution .jpg files and copyrights to those photographs. Feel free to post them on Facebook, email them to your friends and family, print them for your home – whatever you want!
I keep rights to my photos, so you may end up on my blog, portfolio, or business card!
