Michelle and Junior met online about 2 1/2 years ago.  They immediately felt an instant connection and took the leap of faith and met up in person a couple of weeks later. Their first date was exploring Times Square and grabbing slices at Sabarros.  After several months when things progressed seriously, Junior came over to Michelle's apartment and hasn't left ever since. He became a permanent fixture for her apartment. He practically just moved himself in.  Their respective families took to their relationship immediately and Michelle felt welcomed in his and Junior in hers.  Their fathers even became the best of friends over a Father's Day dinner last year. In a blink of an eye,  Junior is proposing in symbolic Times Square this past October in front of close friends and family and including hundreds of random strangers. They were on the road of planning a huge extravagant wedding until the stress of wedding planning got the best of them. They decided a week before going on their planned vacation that they should elope instead.  They got married on Junior's dad's roof overlooking the romantic city of Santiago, Dominican Republic. They had a mini honeymoon in Puerto Plata shortly after and swam with dolphins and sealions, went parasailing in the cool sea breeze and ate authentic Dominican food. Now they are living happily ever after in Brooklyn until they move onto their next journey!
