Victoria & John's Wedding at Willow Creek Golf and Country Club | Long Island, NY

John and I first connected as most summer romances do: on Tinder. Though we often joke about how we 'swiped' for true love, from the moment we met it felt like we were picking up from another lifetime. There was something special between us, and I could never have dreamed of the whirlwind adventure that was to follow. John is from Ireland, and after spending nearly every day together that first summer, he had to go back home. So when he asked me to go back with him, I took the leap and traveled to Ireland without hesitation. I met his family, saw so much gorgeous greenery, and downed a few pints. That trip changed my life! We made long distance work with lots of chats, laughs, and monthly plans to see each other. After John surprised me for Christmas, I wanted to return the favor. I booked a flight to Ireland for the three day MLK weekend. I flew over to Ireland, took the bus down to his town, and gave him a great surprise. But John gave me the greatest surprise by proposing to me that night on his family's home in the countryside! I have never been happier, John and I can find joy and laughter in anything, we love to travel, and playing golf together is one of our favorite things to do! He truly understands me inside and out. When it came to our wedding day, we were incredibly lucky to find Jimmy Chu. He shot once-in-a-lifetime photos for our engagement shoot at Bethpage Black Golf Course following the PGA Championship. Our wedding day photos were surreal. We had a golf-course ceremony at Willow Creek Country Club and a reception afterwards at the Irish Coffee Pub (how appropriate). Jimmy and his assistant Will somehow captured all the right moments without ever being seen. The photos look like they belong in a fairytale, and reflect the perfect day that we had. - Victoria
