Olga + Mohan | Dumbo Brooklyn Engagement Photography

Olga + Mohan met at Red Rooster Harlem Restaurant in New York. She is a City Planner Professional and naturally one of their very first dates involved a 16 hour walking tour through the city neighborhoods - SoHo, TriBeCa, Chelsea/High Line, Times Square, Flat Iron District and eventually the Brooklyn Bridge. They really enjoyed exploring the sights together and the many sounds that New York City has to offer. They are especially grateful for this opportunity as that is what really bought them together.  Just think all 5 senses were met; touched the flowers as they walked by, smelled the Love in the air or rather the flowers blooming, saw all the touristy sites, tasted the diverse eats of NYC has to offer & heard all the yellow taxi cabs honking, sirens from the ambulances and the various multilingual tongues that surrounds them.

Mohan is Indian & Olga is Dominican. The mixture in cultures makes it interesting and challenging.  They both cherish, respect and Love learning about one another backgrounds. Mutual respect and learning their differences are part of the glue that keeps their relationship strong.

For their engagement session, we started at Dumbo, Brooklyn to reminisce and re-trace their path that led to this special day of commitment. We ventured all the way to Central Park, where we ended our session.  Olga + Mohan are getting married next year in the beautiful Hispaniola Island of Dominican Republic!  The sounds of the ocean waves and the soft sand on their bare feet definitely paints a memorable & Loving wedding to come!
