A few days prior to his birthday, Debbie and Jeffery went out for their usual jog together in Riverside Park South. Jeff was jogging very slowly and needed to stretch out a cramp in his leg. With the beautiful Ringo sculpture across the Hudson River which inevitably set the mood, he knelt down on one knee recalling their first date but instead asking the very important question that would alter their lives forever. Initially Debbie was annoyed that he was delaying their run, but she soon realized what was happening, the uncontrollable tears welled up in her eyes and he asked her to marry him.
