The Story of Jessica & Dominic 

How we made our choice to get married in New York is a bit of a funny story.  We booked the holiday almost a year before we were due to go. We knew it was the concrete jungle where dreams are made of and wanted our first 2 week holiday together to be somewhere unforgettable, so we decided to add to the magic by going to our first anniversary.  What jess didn't  know is that Dom had the very romantic idea to propose at the top of the world, the Empire State building.  But it turned out that the bespoke engagement ring he had ordered from Jess' favourite jeweller Alexis Dove, arrived about a month earlier than expected.  Dying to propose Dom popped the question in their favourite local restaurant the Milestone in Sheffield.  Then the wedding plans soon began!  We loved the idea of getting married aboard just the two of us.  Somewhere full of magic and romance that we could visit with our kids in the future.  We knew New York was top our list for our destination wedding pretty quickly, so started looking at going back to New York for a short break later in the year.  Suddenly we thought why book to go back when we can get hitched while we are there next month!  So after a lot of research Dom found the Tropical Sky Team and  Josephine With I Do Weddings NYC and it could not have been more perfect!  The whole team were great, so helpful and so friendly, we got more excited with every email exchange and before we knew it were were packing Dom's Ted Baker suit and Jess' Vera Wang wedding dress and flying to the Big Apple.  The week we had in the city before the wedding was incredible, but it was nothing compared to the dream that out wedding day was.  In the beautiful location by Belvedere Castle in Central Park we had the most wonderful ceremony.  Tears of joy were shed (mainly by the bride Jess) and vows were exchanged and it was just out of this world amazing from start to finish!  The whole day was perfect, we had great fun with our photos taken by the very talented Jimmy and having Josephine being as amazing as always every step of the way made the day one we will always remember every little detail of. Our wedding day was perfect, we couldn't have asked for anything more and wouldn't change a thing.  It was the first day of our new life together and wow, what a way to get it started!
